Submission Policy


This policy is designed to retain the integrity of our site & to provide the best experience for all users.

Products submitted to this site will be appropriate for general audiences. It will be the responsibility of FileMiser.com to investigate complaints regarding inappropriate material. FileMiser.com may remove links to any file deemed inappropriate for listing on our site. No appeal is possible. By submitting your file you agree that this site reserves the right to reject or edit any submission without notice.

NOTE: Separate submissions are required for each major OS, i.e: Windows, Mac, Linux, Mobile. Our processing software can only import 1 Category OS at a time + the OS Versions. In other words: If you select... 'Windows/Audio & Multimedia/Audio Encoders & Decoders' from the drop-down as your Category OS then you should only check Windows OS versions from the 'OS Support' area below. We apologize for any confusion.

=> NEW (1/7/12): Do not use the "Title" of your product in the "Description" within the first 100 chars. (this applies to the "Short Description" as well...)

=> NEW (1/8/12): Your "Short Description" should be completely different from the long "Description".

PLEASE USE PROPER SPACING BETWEEN WORDS IN TITLE & DESCRIPTIONS. WORDS THAT RUN TOGETHER likethis or like,this MAY BREAK OUR SITE. IF YOUR LISTING BREAKS OUR SITE IT MAY BE EDITED OR REMOVED ENTIRELY.

DO NOT USE SPACES IN URLS. THE LINKS MAY NOT WORK PROPERLY & IMAGES WILL NOT SHOW.

DO NOT USE SYMBOLS IN THE TITLE OR THE BEGINNING OF THE DESCRIPTION TO MAKE YOUR LISTING STAND OUT FROM THE REST. DO NOT USE ALL/MOSTLY CAPITAL LETTERS IN THE TITLE OR DESCRIPTION.

ALL FILES SUBMITTED MUST INCLUDE A FREE TRIAL AND ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A DOWNLOAD URL.
The following Download URL file extensions will be accepted: exe, rar, zip, pdf, ace, tar, gz, dmg, msi, sit, jar, tgz, jad, pbi, bin, sh, xls, sis, tbz.

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CLONES, AFFILIATE VERSIONS, CO-BRANDED VERSIONS, ONLINE GAMBLING SOFTWARE, ADULT CONTENT SOFTWARE, OR NON-FILE RELATED PRODUCTS.

DO NOT SUBMIT A FILE THAT ADVERTISES A NON-FILE RELATED PRODUCT.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SPAM THIS ARCHIVE BY SUBMITTING THE SAME PRODUCT UNDER DIFFERENT NAMES OR BY ANY OTHER MEANS.

DO NOT USE HTML/URLs IN THE TITLE OR DESCRIPTION, THEY WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REMOVED BY OUR SOFTWARE.

IF YOU VIOLATE OUR SUBMISSION POLICY WE MAY REMOVE ALL OF YOUR PRODUCTS FROM OUR DATABASE AND YOU MAY BE BANNED FROM THE SITE ENTIRELY.
